With the invention of  Cotton Gin in America in 1793, it changed the South economy by reduced slaves removing seeds from the cotton. Removing the seeds from cotton was back-breaking work for the slaves. The cotton gin was able to clean cotton easily in less time. Introducing cotton gin also led rise to slavery which ultimately increased the need for slaves in the field for growing and picking the cotton in plantations.
