Hi,

For future problems involving range, you find the range of the data set you take the largest number in this case, 38, and the smallest number, 22, then you subtract. That is your answer:

38 - 22 = 16

Answer:

range = 16

Step-by-step explanation:

Firstly, the range of a set of data is the difference between the  greatest number and the lowest number. To get the range of a set of data one need to arrange the number from the least to the highest value.

Arranging the number,

22, 22, 27, 29, 30, 34, 38

The greatest number is 38 while the smallest number is 22 .

Now find the difference between the numbers.

range = 38 - 22

range = 16

(p2+3p+6)+(2p2+6p+6) Please get this right. AND DON'T SPAM!
gayaneshka [121]

(p² + 3p + 6) + (2p² + 6p + 6)

First you must combine (aka sum) like terms. Like terms are numbers that have matching variables OR are numbers with out variables OR have matching variables with matching exponents. In this case the like terms are p² and 2p² (they both have the exponent p that is squared); 3p and 6p (they both have the variable p attached); and 6 and 6 (both numbers without variables)

(p² + 2p²) + (3p + 6p) + (6 + 6)

3p² + 9p + 12

Hope this helped!
