Dominic has more interest in updating his status on social networks than in calling people or texting. He wants to be able to po

st about what he is doing every day, along with high-quality photographs and links to the songs he is listening to. Dominic also gets lost on the road pretty easily, so he needs something with a reliable GPS. He will likely carry his phone in a small carrying case that he will buy as an accessory. Truthfully, direct verbal mediums of communication have not faced any progress in the past several years as most people communicate through photos nowadays anyway. In that regard, Dominic is in luck as he can buy any smartphone from the past several years and they will all fulfill his needs. In order to best comply with his needs to fit his phone in a small carrying case, Dominic's best option is an iPhone 5C as it is the smallest and cheapest phone on the market that also carries Apple's focus on camera quality and the C's distinctive plastic back that is more durable than an entirely glass smartphone. Hope this helped.

Which sentence uses a relative clause that is correctly placed and punctuated?
SVETLANKA909090 [29]

Answer:

The correct answer is The man who sat beside me at lunch, speaks French.

Explanation:

Relative clauses are sentences with<u> relative pronouns</u> (who, which, whose, that) used to define and identify a thing or person that <u>has already been mentioned before and we want to add more information. </u>

To understand <u>whether it is necessary to add a comma or not</u>, you must ask yourself if the information you are adding is <u>extra or necessary</u>.

In this case, <em>"The man who sat beside me at lunch, speaks French."</em> The fact that he speaks French <u>is not relevant</u> with respect to the person to whom "<em>who</em>" is referring.

A necessary information would be <em>“sat beside me at lunch”</em>, since without that information it could be talking about any man.
