I need help proofreading this article for my school paper
Solnce55 [7]
I added commas where they were needed. You may also want to consider changing some of the repeating words to make this article more interesting.

I had a rough sophomore year but they helped me with my grades and brought them back up and this year( junior year) has been perfect but for both years there wasn't a lot of fun activities our school is too underfunded and most money we get goes to the middle school last year we had a Halloween dance, prom, and we had dominion of terror that's all we had for activities this year we have no Halloween dance, No dominion of terror and most likely from what I've heard... no prom but I see all these other Sheboygan area schools having dances football games and all this other stuff but we can't even get a single dance, I understand that we are in school for education but we are also here for a great high school experience before have to be pushed into the adult world and never have anything like this again but overall there teachers and education system is great but we are really underfunded and don't get a full high school experience.

To what does Genius in lines 12 and 16 MOST likely refer?
likoan [24]

The Genius in lines 12 and 16 MOST likely refers to fate.

Fate

Explanation:

The poem “Fate” clarifies that an individual's life is completely constrained by destiny or fate as we call it and otherworldly powers or more noteworthy creatures control a person's life regardless. In which the line "The genius from its cloudly Throne & Is the same genius that creates" alludes to fate (Genius).

No living being can comprehend the idea of destiny and how destiny turns the occasions for an individual or against him. In this sonnet, the creator clarifies the inconceivability of people controlling their destinies.

He discusses heavenly powers who direct individuals' fates, and that people can just quiet submission to it. Regardless of if life closes with fortunate or unfortunate fortune, individuals can just keep living with it.

Which are root words? check all that apply. anti con cred graph post vis
goldenfox [79]

The correct answer is: vis, cred and graph, are root words.

Anti, con and post, are prefixes.

To determine if a morphema is a root word is not an easy task. Breaking words into parts is quite the best method to discover what the root word is, because the root word will be the morphema left after removing the prefix and/or the suffix, and it shall be the morphema holding the most basic meaning of a word.

Words not always have affixes (prefixes, suffixes), and there are some words which may have two root words combined. Some of them can be standalone words (like phobia), while others cannot stand alone (like vis). In any case it should be underlined that the root word is the core word, without which the particular word would not have any meaning.
