Answer:

Explanation:

The Nacirema are devotee and worshippers of nature, body welfare, and self-image. They are focused on their economical duties, however, they are really connected with their spiritual side too, so based on this the Nacirema would find strange about us:

-The way we live our daily lives, too stressful, extremely busy days and not having at all times to relax and connect with ourselves, mentally and spiritually.

-The way we eat is not a secret to affirm that the diets of the majority of the American people are not too good or healthy, they promote a natural life in all aspects, so they would find strange on us this aspect as well.

-The way we talk, the average person tends to express himself in the simplest way possible, they love elaborate and polite speaking, seeing the way to communicate ourselves as an art.

4-the Mayans had a complex and stable writing system, that was maintained more than a Millenium by the same culture, it was more advanced compared to other important cultures, like the Aztecs or Incan.

5- They had tribes expanded in different places of the American territory, with common practices and rituals, that allowed them to be successful until some point, they lived in the southeast of Illinois, Florida and North Carolina mainly.

Horace M. Miner wrote the paper about Nacirema back in 1956. The term “Nacirema” is actually “American” spelled backwards and the article was an anthropological article describing US American, predominantly Caucasian, culture of the 1950’s. Some of the themes that this 'tribe' would find strange are  1. the superiority of his own culture 2. the inscrutable exoticness and childlike primitiveness of things and behaviors 3. the self-image obsession.

Mention the obstacles to modernization of agriculture in nepal.
lisabon 2012 [21]

Answer and Explanation:

Although Nepal's economy is mainly focused on agriculture, it faces many problems and obstacles to modernizing agriculture. The first obstacle is that the country has a low investment in technology, which prevents farmers from having access to new resources aimed at agriculture, causing them to be stuck with traditional agricultural systems and elements.

These traditional agricultural systems do not allow high productivity of crops, causing crops to be low, sales to be low and economic gain to be weak, preventing farmers from investing in better production methods.

Other challenges to this modernization are the lack of investment in research, the lack of efficient transport, the lack of a good irrigation system and a limited market.

Read the following quotes from Helen Keller and answer the question below.
"I am just as deaf as I am blind. The problems of deafness are deeper and more
complex, if not more important than those of blindness. Deafness is a much
worse misfortune. For it means the loss of the most vital stimulus-- the sound of
the voice that brings language, sets thoughts astir, and keeps us in the
intellectual company of man."
"Blindness separates us from things but deafness separates us from people."
Do you agree with Helen Keller’s assessment that deafness is a much worse misfortune than blindness? Explain.
