Suddenly there shot along the path a wild light, and I turned to see whence a gleam so unusual could have issued; for the vast h

ouse and its shadows were alone behind me. The radiance was that of the full, setting, and bloodred moon, which now shone vividly through that once barely discernible fissure, of which I have before spoken as extending from the roof of the building, in a zigzag direction, to the base.

The element of Gothic literature used in this excerpt is the supernatural element of a bloodred moon.
B is incorrect because there's nothing supernatural about choosing your path; C is incorrect as there aren't many complicated words here; D is incorrect because the moon is the focus of the reader's attention here, not sunlight.
A bloodred moon sounds ominous, almost supernatural as it rarely, if ever happens in real life.

PLLLZZZZZZ HELPPPPP !!!!!!! I NEED IT FAST AND IT"S MY LAST QUESTION!!!!! I WILL MARK YOU BRAINLIEST FOR CORRECT ANSWER!!!!!
Scilla [17]

Answer:

One time, when I was around 9 years old, my parents blamed me for making a mess and not cleaning it up, when I did, and I got punished for it. The next day, when I got out of punishment, my sister accidentally confessed that she made a mess last night during breakfast time, and I got so mad I went to my room. My sister got punished for making a mess without cleaning it up and I got a full apology for getting punished for no reason, I got to spend the day doing whatever I wanted I got to play Xbox (since my sister usually hogs it) I got to watch TV, and I got to spend time by myself and worked on my drawing skills. Later, when my sister got out of her punishment, she apoligized and said she didnt want to be punished, so she blamed me instead. I forgave her and told her not to do that again.
