the complete question in the attached figure

we know that

Art--------------------- > spends studying 10 hr

Math--------------------> spends studying 9 hr

total hours in the graph=5+9+10+6+13=43 hours

then

if 43 hours----------------------- > represents 100%

(10+9) Mat+Art-------------------> X

X=19*100/43=44.19%

the answer is 44.19%

Factor completely 2x5 + 10x4 − 22x3.
Luba_88 [7]

Given equation is :

2x^{5}+10x^{4}-22x^{3}=0

Taking out 2x^{3} common we get,

x^{2}+5x-11=0

Now solving this we get,

As 11 is not factor-able, we will solve it using the formula,

x=\frac{-b+\sqrt{b^{2}-4ac}}{2a}

a=1 b=5 and c=-11

we get,

x=\frac{-5+\sqrt{69} }{2} and x=\frac{-5-\sqrt{69} }{2}

What is the equation in point -slope form of a line that passes through the points (7,-8) and (-4,6)? A. y-6=-2/3(x+4) B. y+6=-1
Lapatulllka [165]
Given two points  (x₁,y₁) and (x₂,y₂)the slope passes through these points will be:
m=(y₂-y₁)/(x₂-x₁)

In this case the slope will be:
(7,-8)
(-4,6)
m=(6+8)/(-4-7)=14/-11=-14/11

point-slope form of a line: we need a point (x₀,y₀) and the slope (m).
y-y₀=m(x-x₀)

In this case, we know the slope (m=-14/11), and we can choose either of two points. The line will be the same.

(-4,6)
m=-14/11
y-y₀=m(x-x₀)
y-6=-14/11(x+4)        ⇒ (point-slope form)
