Opinions on smoking

If this is for a school assignment then to put it simply, I think people should make their own choices, and I am not going to, say, stop being friends with my neighbor because they smoke; I may remind them of the harmfulness, but at very least that's all. I don't think the govt. should compose such scars in regards to illegalizing (of which originates to one could say prohibition of the early 1900s) smoking as I believe in mild government interference; however, I would never endorse smoking.
