Read the following sentences.

English
1 answer:
Eva8 [605]3 years ago
4 0

Answer:

A. Spontaneous concerts and other spur-of-the-moment events are easier to organize nowadays now that e-mailing, texting, and social networking get information to people instantly.

Explanation:

A complex sentence is formed by an independent clause and a dependent one. That means we need to transform one of our clauses into a dependent/subordinate clause to obtain a complex sentence.

The best option is letter A. The first clause remained the same, which makes it now the main clause. The second clause begins with "now that", which is a subordinate conjunction. We have here a complex sentence.

Letters B and C joined the clauses correctly, but did not form a complex sentence because both clauses remain independent.

Letter D could have been a good option, but both sentences were transformed into subordinate ones. If you read the sentence, you'll notice it does not make sense because of the "although" that was added to it.

Sometimes lack of motivation carries a message that’s worth heeding.
A).True
B).False
Hatshy [7]
The answer to this question would be A. True.

Lack of motivation indeed carries a message that is worth heeding. These extremes are all carriers of messages that might be that the one posing as their mother ship can't express what they really want, thus they conform to the wills and demands of other people most likely their parents or friends. Another possibility would be that they want to escape or forget it or even hide it from other people. A lack of motivation tells the observer that the one being observed is most likely doing something which isn't in line with the person's passion.

Define the word Sparingly and use it in a sentence
Black_prince [1.1K]
Sparingly (adv) - In a manner where you only do something in spares— i.e. in small numbers/frequency.
Ex- if you have spare tires then you have extra. If you use the tires sparingly you’re trying to spare the tires—so you’re trying not to use it; you are sparing it. Use it only if you have to!

Use it in a sentence: Eating candy is usually bad for you, so eat it sparingly.
