Answer:

According to maths there are infinity numbers between 167 and 169 or 169 and 170 if we talk about continuous variable which means in decimals. But according to discrete variables yes there are approximately as many boys between 167 and 169 as there are between 169 and 170.

not sure what your asking exactly but in terms of math there are an infinite amount of numbers between 167 and 169 and an infinite amount of numbers between 169 and 170 and because infinity is unquantifiable there are as many numbers between 167 and 169 as there are between 169 and 170.

i hope this helps.

Based on the description of the setting, what kind of event would you expect this lottery to be? a minor delay keeping people fr
dimaraw [331]

Answer:

An exciting one on a beautiful summer day.

Explanation:

Shirley Jackson's The Lottery tells the story of how a village's annual ritual of conducting a lottery to chose one person to be stoned to death is carried out. And for this particular event, all the villagers, including children, were expected to forego their work and be present for the event.

The given passage shows the setting of the event where the people were gathered in the square. "The morning of June 27th was clear", in the village where there were just about three hundred people. So, for them, it will be easy to get it done with, unlike other villages where the lottery "took two days". This reveals that the particular lottery event in this village will be an exciting one, with the day being a beautiful summer day.

Thus, the correct answer is the last/ fourth option.
