Answer:

200 mg sodium is in 1 oz of chips and 50 mg sodium is in 1 cup of soda.

Step-by-step explanation:

Let x mg sodium is in 1 oz of chips and and y mg is in 1 cup of soda.

∵ Bryan ate 3 oz of chips and drank 2 cups of soda for a total of 700 mg of sodium.

i.e. 3x + 2y = 700 --------(1),

Jadyn ate 1 oz of chips and drank 3 cups of soda for a total of 350 mg of sodium.

i.e. x + 3y = 350 ---------(2),

Equation (1) - 3 × equation (2),

We get,

2y - 9y = 700 - 1050

-7y = -350

\implies y = \frac{-350}{-7}= 50

From equation (1),

3x + 2(50) = 700

3x + 100 = 700

3x = 700 - 100

3x = 600

\implies x = \frac{600}{3}=200

Hence, 200 mg sodium is in 1 oz of chips and 50 mg sodium is in 1 cup of soda.

“the perimeter of the rectangle below is 90 units. find the length of side PS. write your answer without variables.”
Rzqust [24]

Answer:

19

Step-by-step explanation:

The opposite sides are equal, so:

PS = 3y+1

RS = 4y+2

QR = 3y+1

PQ = 4y+2

Therefore, we can set the perimeter 90 = PS+RS+QR+PQ

90 = (3y+1) + (4y+2) + (3y+1) + (4y+2), or,

90 = 2(3y+1) + 2(4y+2)

90 = 6y+2 + 8y+4

90 = 14y + 6

84 = 14y

y = 6

Then, we go back to the question. It's asking for the length of PS. PS = 3y+1, so we plug in 6 for y

3(6)+1

18 + 1 = 19

What is the greatest common factor of 60x^4, 45x^5y^5 and 75x^3y
OLEGan [10]
Factor each
60x^4=2*2*3*5*x*x*x*x
45x^5y^5=3*3*5*x*x*x*x*x*y*y*y*y*y
75x^3y=3*5*5*x*x*x*y

common is 3*5*x*x*x=15x^3

gcf=15x^3

Dory and nemo go to Taco Bell for lunch.dory orders three soft tacos and three double deckers for $11.25 nemo pays $10.00 for fo
Maslowich
If we let x be the price for soft tacos and y be that of double deckers, then from the question, we'll have 3x + 3y = 11.25 x + y = 11.25/3 x + y = 3.75 (1) in addtion, we also have 4x + 2y = 10.00 2x + y = 5.00 y = 5.00 - 2x (2) Substituting y from equation (2) into equation (1), x + (5.00 - 2x) = 3.75 -x = 3.75 - 5.00 x = 1.25 y = 5.00 - 2(1.25) = 2.50
