<u>Rousseau was primitivist in his belief and said that humans are inherently good and must go back to the beginning of civilization</u> to live by this inherently good and moral instinct in an anarchic society.

This philosophy was not what <u>Blake</u> subscribed to entirely but did believe in the virtue of humanity. He in turn b<u>elieved in living in the present world but being in touch with the nature and not forgetting the true roots of humanity.</u>
