A greenhouse is a structure made of a transparent material which regulates the temperature in which plants grow. This structure gets warmer than the outside temperature with the sunlight to protect the plants when it is cold. A car with its doors closed and its windows rolled up acts like a greenhouse because when a car is in a parking lot with the doors closed and the windows rolled up, the sun's rays make it hotter than the temprature outside because the heat is absorbed by the carpets, the seats and when they release it, it can't get out and this increases the temperature inside the car which is what happens in a greenhouse.
