Hello. This question is incomplete. The full question is:

"Read the excerpt from The Miracle Worker by William Gibson.

KATE: [TOO QUICKLY] What did she spell?

ANNIE: I spelled card. She spelled cake!

(She takes in KATE'S quickness and shakes her head, gently.)

No, it's only a finger game to her, Mrs. Keller. What she has to learn first is that things have names.

KATE: And when will she learn?

ANNIE: Maybe after a million and one words.

Next, read the excerpt from The Story of My Life by Helen Keller.

When I had played with it a little while, Miss Sullivan slowly spelled into my hand the word "d-o-l-l." I was at once interested in this finger play and tried to imitate it. When I finally succeeded in making the letters correctly I was flushed with childish pleasure and pride. Running downstairs to my mother I held up my hand and made the letters for doll. I did not know that I was spelling a word or even that words existed; I was simply making my fingers go in monkey-like imitation. In the days that followed I learned to spell in this uncomprehending way a great many words, among them pin, hat, cup and a few verbs like sit, stand and walk. But my teacher had been with me several weeks before I understood that everything has a name.

Based on the excerpts, how is the point of view in the play The Miracle Worker different from the point of view in the memoir The Story of My Life?

Only the play shows Helen having difficulty learning that things have names

Only the memoir shows Helen's thoughts about her lessons.

Only the memoir shows Annie's thoughts about Helen's behavior.

Only the play shows Helen's feelings about her mother.

Answer:

Only the memoir shows Helen's thoughts about her lessons.

Explanation:

As you can see, the two excerpts shown above present a narration with points of view that reveal different information to us. Although the two texts show children learning and memorizing new words and how to spell them, only the memoir shows Helen's thoughts on her lessons and how she feels about the lessons, the words and what she is learning.

Evaluate the success of negotiating an environment with an individual and/or others
bekas [8.4K]

Negotiating in a supportive environment would make your communication partner become much more likely to conform to your view point

In negotiation, environment refers to the time and  place where the negotiation occurs, and this would greatly affect the outcome of a negotiation.

For example, let's say that you want to negotiate a fund transfer for building drinking fountain in a certain African village. in such situation, your chance of success would be increased if you manage to get the representative into the village and see it with his/her own eyes regarding the dire situation.
