Answer:

C. Human settlement

Explanation:

The main threats to the survival of the species can be divided into two categories: natural and those resulting from the impact on ecosystems caused by humans. Natural hazards lie mainly in climatic changes, such as global changes in the atmosphere (although at present, scientific research has shown that the impact of human activities contribute substantially to global warming, due to greenhouse gas emissions), natural catastrophes such as torrential rains, volcanic eruptions, natural fires and predation by herbivorous animals. The same processes of natural selection also contribute to the disappearance of the species. On the other hand, within the category of the main threats produced by various human activities such as agriculture, the fires provoked, the immoderate felling and in general, the excessive demographic growth; are habitat fragmentation, deforestation, soil loss or degradation and desertification.

Why was the us foreign policy based in isolationism during the nations first century
garik1379 [7]
Much like many other countries, the US foreign policy was based in isolationism which resulted in new restrictions on immigration and a lack of membership in international organizations. There isn't a good explanation as to why it was isolationist in the first place besides the fact most countries were at that time so it made it easier for the US to do the same.
