Religion was a moralistic foundation of the founding of our country, and thus led to the embracing of religion as a commonplace amongst it citizens. Primarily, it was christianity that took hold of the nation, but as time passes, inclusion, as well as our constitutional rights, focus on the building of a diverse nation.
