Tennyson uses juxtaposition in "Break, Break, Break" to make contrast more apparent by placing images that signify grief next to images that signify happiness and innocence.

Tennyson wrote this poem after the death of Arthur Hallam, his great friend and brother of his wife Emily.

The juxtaposition is used in the poem as a literary device that allows Tennyson to emphasize the feeling of sadness that he felt when writing the poem, since he compares happy moments with sad moments.

Answer:

I believe the answer is A, which you chose.

Explanation:

When talking about interrogations, you would usually think of someone asking questions while another one answers.

Declarative would be when someone makes a statement about something, like, "I am going to get that job!" Something like that.

The imperative is used to give commands and orders, so it wouldn't be that.

"In English grammar, an exclamatory sentence is a type of main clause that expresses strong feelings in the form of an exclamation, as opposed to sentences that make a statement (declarative sentences), express commands (imperative sentences), or ask a question (interrogatory sentences)."

(The last part is from go*gle, btw. I wanted to explain it better so I added it.)

Hope it helps!

I believe the answer is: c. question

The word 'ponder' mean thinking about a certain thing carefully, even if it took a lot of time to do it. This word is often used in a situation when someone trying to find an answer in an unfamiliar situation. Because of this, it think the word 'question' has a similar meaning with ponder.
