The war in Vietnam was popular at home was popular because Dwight D. Eisenhower send over his army or people to help the South Vietnamese people.

That's how my dad talked to me about the American people helping the South Vietnamese people. I don't really know how the Americans really felt about the Vietnam war.

mel-nik [20]

The correct answer is More specific descriptions of the sights, sounds, and smells mentioned by Yasmin

Explanation:

One of the most effective literary devices that allow readers to imagine or visualize elements is the use of descriptive details, especially those involving senses (sensory details). These are useful in writing to describe general elements such as settings but also specific elements such as the feelings or emotions of characters. In the text presented, the main feeling the author wants to emphasize is the tranquility a specific place causes in the main character Yasmin, and this can be depicted by adding more descriptive details that involve senses such as details about the sounds or smells because these can be easily imagined or experienced by the reader.
