Answer:

if on plato your answer should or talk about these concepts

Explanation:

Answers will vary but should include the following concepts:

The Supreme Court case Engel v. Vitale was heard in 1961 when some parents of students forced to recite daily prayers in school sued the New York school district.

The involved parents believed prayer in schools violated the First Amendment.

Majority opinion stated that public schools had no right to include official prayers, as it violated the Establishment Clause.

Dissenting opinion stated that allowing students to pray was in no way a violation of the Constitution. On the contrary, denying students the right to pray in school was unfair.

Conclude with your own thoughts on the matter.

Answer:

This is a strong argument about the state's responsibility in education, but it is not a strong argument that the law is constitutional under the Trade Clause.

Explanation:

In fact, the law is constitutional on the trade clause, but the argument presented above does not refer to this.

The trade clause states that the congress has the power to regulate and manage trade in relation to foreign trade, between states and with indigenous people. However, the above argument represents a reinforcement of the government's responsibility, including congress, to maintain an efficient and safe education, otherwise the trade may be affected.
