The renaissance invention that aided the spread of ideas was the printing press because it allowed mass quantities of pamphlets and pages to be printed in a short amount of time. Previously, it had taken months to copy a book word for word, and you could only copy one book at a time, but now you could copy hundreds of pages in just a few minutes. Thus, the Renaissance invention that aided the spread of ideas was the printing press.
