The Gandhara school of thought coupled Hellenistic, Persian, and Native techniques. The newest figures come from the Gandharan region. Gandhara increased from the first century to the fifth. It was precisely Greco-Roman in style, with the initial figures had the head of Apollo with the body covered in a Roman-style toga.
