Paul Revere knew that the British soldiers were not commanded by their captain to fire on civilians of the Boston Massacre. Inst
ead, the situation was a riot that got out of hand. Still, he made a famous poster that showed British soldiers executing unarmed Americans. What statement best summarizes the poster he made?
It just so happens that I did the American Revolution this year at school
Description on the poster -} The British are lined up getting ready to aim fire which ends up happening, implying that the British soldiers are aggressors. The colonist are shown reacting to the British when in fact they had attacked the soldiers first. The British faces are sharp and angular in contrast to the Americans' softer, more innocent features. This makes the British look more menacing. There are dead colonists on the left of the picture. In the forest ground the dog in the print is not bothered by the mayhem behind him and is staring out at view.
You don't have to write this much I just wanted to give you a fairly good idea on what I'm typing since I can't talk to you face to face.
Continuation-}
Paul Revere did not want to show he was bias because he was a colonist, he obviously didn't not like the British. He did not want the ordinary people to know that the British shot in self - defence to protect themselves from the colonists. He wanted him and the other colonists to look more vulnerable than the British.
I hope this helped you, yes it was a lot but I truly hope this really helped. GOOD LUCK.
