Answer:

To present an argument to the reader is the main purpose of the thesis.

Explanation:

A thesis or a thesis statement is an argument proposed in a single sentence to make the readers aware of what topic is the paper dealing with, and what is the researcher trying to prove.

A thesis does not necessarily provide all the information about the paper, nor does it mention any viewpoint opposite to the one that the researcher is trying to prove.

How did the Berlin Wall come to represent the struggle of the Cold War? In other words,
bogdanovich [222]

Answer:

When Ronald Reagan addressed these words to Soviet leader Mikhail Gorbachev in June of 1987, few believed that just two years later the Berlin Wall would actually be dismantled. It seemed like a permanent fixture, symbolizing the irreparable divide between the Cold War powers. But by 1990, all but a few traces of the wall were gone.

castortr0y [4]

Answer:

 • Africa is blessed with a rich bounty of natural resources. The continent holds around 30% of the world's known mineral reserves. These include cobalt, uranium, diamonds and gold, as well as significant oil and gas reserves.
 • Over the period 2000 to 2008 resource extraction contributed more that 30 percent of Africa's GDP, while the annual flow of foreign direct has investment into Africa increased from $9 billion to $62 billion.
 • Africa has been drawn a little benefit from this mineral wealth and remains one the poorest continents on the globe, with almost fifty per cent of the population living on less than $1.25 per day.
