Oedipus is an example of an early form of the novel called a pastoral.  Option C is correct.

Pastoral literature refers to a sort of literature that presents the society of shepherds as free from the complexity and corruption of city life. Themes include, notably, love and death.

Oedipus was a mythical Greek king of Thebes. A tragic hero in Greek mythology. The story of Oedipus is the subject of Sophocles' tragedy Oedipus Rex.

Answer:<em><u> "</u></em><u>Lycidas"</u><em><u> </u></em>is an example of an early form of the novel called a pastoral.

Explanation: "Lycidas" was written by John Milton in 1637 and it is considered to be a pastoral elegy since<u> it presents an idealized rural landscape. </u>Moreover, "Lycidas" also makes reference to different characters belonging to the Greek mythology, such as Orpheus, Amaryllis, Neptune, Arethuse and the nymphs. Moreover, this poem is a pastoral elegy because<u> the poet remembers the deceased Edward King by bringing him in contact with an idealized nature.  </u>

In how to eat an ice cream cone why does the author caution against letting the cashier hand you other people cone
Oksi-84 [34.3K]
In eating an ice cream, the author caution us in letting the cashier hand to us other people's cones because technically it might get dirty or contaminated because the cashier is in charge of the store’s money. So we must  be cautious about it.

How do lines 6-7 contribute to the development of a theme in the poem?
monitta

Answer: The more lines a poem has the more it can help the reader understand the theme. a line is also known as a stanza. Using Stanzas are important because they meaningfully divide poetry on the page, setting it apart from prose and allowing certain ideas, moments, and themes to be organized uniquely according to the poet's intention and message.

Explain whether you agree of disagree about open book tests being more difficult than traditional tests. What can you do to bett
Lyrx [107]

I disagree of open book tests being harder than traditional tests; what is open book tests to you? <em>On every answer do you get to cheat to use your book? </em>I disagree, because on the final tests <em>or the STAAR tests, </em>you won't be using <u>open book.</u> What will you do then, if you only use open book?  Traditional tests you won't have any book, not one. What will you do then, if you switched from always open books to a normal, better traditional test? <u>Students need to be more prepared; schools can't </u><em><u>let</u></em><u> them cheat. Open book tests are just something the teachers give to their students to make it easier.</u> This is why I believe open book tests are much <em>easier </em> than traditional tests, that is why I fully disagree when you say that Open Book tests are harder than traditional test.
