François Boucher, important name of Rococo, was born in Paris, in the year 1703.
His paintings were full of charm and seduction filled with naked nymphs in mythological and allegorical scenes that fell in love with the high Parisian layers and served as decorations for the most famous residences. Boucher epitomized the rococo-era artifice by saying that "nature was too green and poorly lit."
