1. All researches collect various demographic information.
asambeis [7]

Answer: True

Explanation:

This is a True or False question.

Due to the various factors surrounding the way of life of different demographics, it is important to note which demographics are being researched so that a more accurate and inclusive conclusion can be reached.

This is why researchers must collect demographic information. They need it to classify data. For instance, a research about home expenses needs demographic information about age because older people(adults) pay more household expenses than younger ones(teenagers) so not knowing this can lead to less than accurate results.

What becomes increasingly obvious to winston as he reads the book O’brien gave him
kow [346]

Answer:

Winston Smith is the the protagonist in George Orwell's dystopian novel <em>1984</em> about a <em>Totalitarian State; </em>Winston secretly dislikes the party he's afiliated to <em>(The Thought Police Party of Oceania in the novel)</em> and remains skeptical, so as he reads the book <em>"The Theory and Practice of Oligarchical Collectivism"</em> supposedly writen by Emmanuel Goldstein, he obviously realizes it was not written by Goldstein but by <em>The Party</em> of Oceania.

Name two put of the four common forms of descriptive language
rusak2 [61]

The four most common forms of descriptive language are adjectives, adverbs, similes, and metaphors:

Adjectives are words that describe what you can sense about a noun including sight, sound, smell, taste, touch, and emotion.

For example, an elephant eating grass could be described using adjectives as follows:  The huge (sight) elephant sat in the warm (touch) sunshine contentedly (emotion) crunching (sound) the sweet (taste) fragrant (smell) grass.

Adverbs are words that modify verbs.  They give more information about the verb by indicating “how” and “when”.  Some examples of adverbs are smoothly, destructively, always, very, today, and yesterday.

Similes are phrases that use the words “like” or “as” to describe a noun by comparing it to another noun with similar characteristics.  Examples:

The floor tiles were as cold as ice.

She was quick like a bunny.

The night sky was as black as coal.

Metaphors are phrases that describe several characteristics of a noun by comparing it to another noun. Unlike similes, metaphors do not use “like” or “as” and are more difficult to create.  Examples:

She is more of an idea person (than a strategic one).

Life is a journey.

I am drowning in homework.
