- - Solve:

To find the volume of a sphere:
 \frac{4}{3} *3.14*R^3

3.14≈π

Now since its telling us to use π, then we do our formula by multiplying by π.

π=3.14 (Approximate amount)

So:

4/3*3.14*9^3=3052.08

So you are correct.

When Radius=9, you plug in for R. :)

Yes your answer is correct.
9 = R , for radious
Sphere Formula = s = 4,  Pi r  powered by 2  , volume below :

Volume of a sphere = V = (4/3)x(3.14)x(r^3)

now we have to multiply by pi = 3.14 which gets us
3052.08    |  in powered by 3

so again yes you were right

Find the component form of the vector that translates P(4,5) to p'.
Veronika [31]

Answer:

Component form : (-7 , 2)

Step-by-step explanation:

P(4 , 5) = P'(4 +x , 5+y) = P'(-3 , 7)

4 + x = -3

    x = -3 - 4

    x = -7

5 + y = 7

     y = 7 - 5

     y = 2

Vector form : -7i + 2j

Component form : (-7 , 2)

Factorise the following quadratic equations
vesna_86 [32]

Answer:

see explanation

Step-by-step explanation:

In 13 - 17

Consider the factors of the constant term which sum to give the coefficient of the x- term

13

x² - x - 42 = (x - 7)(x + 6)

15

x² + x - 6 = (x + 3)(x - 2)

17

x² - 27x + 50 = (x - 25)(x - 2)

19

r² - 25 ← is a difference of squares and factors in general as

a² - b² = (a - b)(a + b) , thus

r² - 25

= r² - 5² = (r - 5)(r + 5)
