Answer:

Expert Power

Explanation:

A leader can exercise five powers, i.e., Coercive, Referent, Expert, Reward and Legitimate power.

Expert Power can be defined on the basis of the perception of the workers about their leader, manager or any other member of the firm or organization.

The workers perceives that their leader or manager or anyone in the organization has certain level of knowledge higher to them or has a specific skills set that no other member in the organization has.

In relation to the question, expert power is when the leader has higher knowledge and the employees comply because of their perception resulting in a belief in their leader that they learn or get benefited from it.

What is geographically different about the parts of Utah that get more precipitation that other parts?
DiKsa [7]

Answer:

Precipitation varies greatly, from an average of less than five inches annually over the Great Salt Lake Desert (west of Great Salt Lake), to more than 40 inches in some parts of the Wasatch Mountains. The average annual precipitation in the leading agricultural areas is between 10 to 15 inches, necessitating irrigation for the economic production of most crops. However, the mountains, where winter snows form the chief reservoirs of moisture, are conveniently adjacent to practically all farming areas, and there is usually sufficient water for most land under irrigation. The areas of the State below an elevation of 4,000 feet, all in the southern part, generally receive less than 10 inches of moisture annually.

Northwestern Utah, over and along the mountains, receives appreciably more precipitation in a year than is received at similar elevations over the rest of the State, primarily due to terrain and the direction of normal storm tracks. The bulk of the moisture falling over that area can be attributed to the movement of Pacific storms through the region during the winter and spring months. In summer northwestern Utah is comparatively dry. The eastern portion receives appreciable rain from summer thunderstorms, which are usually associated with moisture-laden air masses from the Gulf of Mexico.

Snowfall is moderately heavy in the mountains, especially over the northern part. This is conducive to a large amount of winter sports activity, including skiing and hunting. While the principal population centers along the base of the mountains receive more snow, as a rule, than many middle and northeastern sections of the United States, a deep snow cover seldom remains long on the ground.

Runoff from melting mountain snow usually reaches a peak in April, May or early June, and sometimes causes flooding along the lower streams. However, damaging floods of this kind are infrequent. Flash floods from summer thunderstorms are more frequent, but they affect only small, local areas.

Nationalism users in a romantic movement in arts and ideas. How did the ideas of romanticism contrast with Enlightenment ideas?-
jeyben [28]

Answer:

Well, since your question is actually a number of questions (all related to one topic, of course), I'll try to give a short a concise answer to each one of them.

1) How did the ideas of romanticism contrast with Enlighenment ideas?

The first and most important thing to understand about Romanticism is that it began as a response Enlightenment; it opposed to the enllighted argument saying that reason should be the center of human creation. Therefore, art, in its various forms, was impacted and transformed by this notion.

2) How were the ideas of romanticim reflected in literature?

Emotions and feelings, specilly passionate ones, started being the center of novelistic and poetic works. Frankeistein or the Human Prometheus and The Scarlett Letter are good examples of literature pieces where narrative is focused on the inner perspective of the main character; completely different from a dettacherd point of view, feature quite traceable in the Enlighted novels.

3) How was romanticism reflected in art?

Here, I asume, by art you mean visual arts.

If such, it is fair to say that romantic painting implied a transformation in the topics and themes, rather that in the ways and hows. It started portraiting heroes and epic moments in History, it embeded the ideas of nationalism.

4) How did romanticism affect the music of the time?

The ideal for the Romantic composer was to reflect his own feelings and emotions in his compositions in order to instill in the listener certain preconceived moods. Othe features were: freedom of form and design, song-like melodies (lyrical), as well as many chromatic harmonies and discords.
