ASAP PLEASE HELP AND EXPLAIN!!!!!!!!
yKpoI14uk [10]
The equation for the area of a right triangle is 1/2 x base x height. therefore on the first triangle i would assume 4 and 3 are the base and the height. therefore the hypotenuse would be 5 because a^2 + b^2 = c^2. a and b are the base and the height and c is the hypotenuse. so if you multiply 3 by 4,3 and 5. youre new base and height would be 12 and 9 and the hypotenuse would be 15. if you plug 12 and 9 (the base and the height) into the formula for the area of a right triangle (1/2 x base x height) the area of the new triangle would be 54. hope this helps!!

Answer:

See explanation.

Step-by-step explanation:

Part C)

5+(-10)

When adding a positive to a negative, the result will be the sign of the larger absolute value. In this case, 10 is greater than 5, so the result will be negative.

Adding a negative is also the same thing as subtracting a positive.

5+(-10)\\5-10\\-5

For your second problem, 5 is larger than 3, so the result will be positive.

5+(-3)\\5-3\\2

-----

When adding a positive to another positive, the result will be positive.

5+3\\8

When adding a number to zero, the answer will always be the number.

5+0\\5

Part D)

When multiplying a positive times a negative, the result will always be negative.

5*(-10)\\-50

5*(-3)\\-15

-----

When multiplying a positive times a positive, the result will always be positive.

5*10\\50

When multiplying a positive or a negative times zero, the result will always be zero.

5*0\\0

Answer:

1. A point at (0, -3) and a point at (1, -1) and connect them

2. A point at (0, 4) and a point at (3, 6) and connect them

Step-by-step explanation:

The last number in the slope intercept form is the y-intercept, so that's one point down. Then all you gotta do is use the slope and do rise over run technique to find another point and then connect them!
