This is a short story in which Cleofilas' Father want his only daughter to marry. He wants her to be happy. However she is afraid of starting (what she thinks) will makes her be a happy and successful person. Her father is conscious about his daughter’s husband. He reminds Cleofilas that he is her father and that he will never throw her away. This is how a father shows his love for his daughter. He's letting her know that she will always be able to come back home.
