I think the answer is 100 dollars per year because I multiplied 12,000 by 5 %. to change the percent I went and put a decimal two spaces before the five because that's how you have to do it or it wont work. the answer was 600 dollars. to get the answer per year I had to divide 600 by 6 years.

Well to solve this question we first need to know the formula for finding simple interest as because you dont state otherwise is what Im going to find for you which is, S(1(+or-)I) ^{T} S=starting amount, I=interest rate, and T=amount of years that the cash has been in the bank. So now all that we need to do is input are numbers like so 12000(1+.05)^{6} now just solve like so,
12000(1+.05)^{6}=16081 now to find how much she paid extra take,
16081-12000=4081 so are end answer is she paid $4081 in interest.

Choose the kind(s) of symmetry. (Select all that apply.) F point line plane none
hram777 [196]

the kind(s) of symmetry. (Select all that apply.) F point line plane none is given below

Step-by-step explanation:

  • The four main types of this symmetry are translation, rotation, reflection, and glide reflection.
  • There are three basic types of symmetry: reflection symmetry, rotational symmetry, and point symmetry.
  • Axis of symmetry is a line that divides an object into two equal halves, thereby creating a mirror like reflection of either side of the object. ... Symmetry is a key concept in geometry which cuts the figure into two halves that are exact reflections of each other, as shown in figure given below.
  • Symmetry is something that we observe in many places in our daily lives without even noticing it. It is easily noticeable in various arts, buildings, and monuments. Nature uses symmetry to make things beautiful. For example, consider the pictures of the butterfly and the leaf .
  • Use symmetry in a sentence. noun. Symmetry is an attribute where something is the same on both sides of an axis. An example of symmetry is a circle that is the same on both sides if you fold it along its diameter.

What is Right angle traingle?

A right-angled triangle is a particular kind of triangle in which one of the angles is 90 degrees. The combined angles of the other two are 90 degrees. The triangle's base and perpendicular sides both include the right angle. The longest of the three sides, known as the hypotenuse, is the third side.

we know that;

By applying the Pythagorean Theorem;

c^2 = a^2 + b^2                                                                 .............................(1)

Area of the square says A1;

A1 = a^2 unit^2                                                           ...............................(2)

Area of the square says A2;

A2 = b^2 unit^2                                                         .................................(3)

Area of the square says A1;

A3 = c^2 unit^2                                                         ..................................(4)

Replace the A1, A2, and A3 values in the equation 1 ;

A3 = A1 + A2

therefore;

(Area of 1) + (Area of 2) = (Area of 3).

Use the figure below to answer the questions.
Archy [21]

Answer:

a. What is the name of the 3D shape?

The name of the 3D shape is Prism

b. What is the formula for total surface area for this shape?

Total surface area:

S=2A_{b}+P_{b}h

c. What is the surface area of the figure?

The surface area of the figure is 144 cm²

Step-by-step explanation:

a. What is the name of the 3D shape?

The 3D shape has two congruent and parallel faces (triangles) and the other faces are parallelograms, then the 3D shape is a prism

b. What is the formula for total surface area for this shape?

Total Surface area:

S=2A_{b}+P_{b}h

where:

Area of the base of the prism: Ab

Perimeter of the base: Pb

Height of the prism: h

c. What is the surface area of the figure?

The base of the prism is a triangle. Then to calculate the area of the base, we must use the formula to calculate the area of a triangle:

A_{b}=\frac{bh}{2}\\ A_{b}=\frac{(4 cm)(3 cm)}{2}\\ A_{b}=\frac{12cm^{2} }{2}\\ A_{b}=6cm^{2}

The perimeter of the base is the perimeter of the triangle, equal to the sum of the sides of the triangle:

P_{b}=4cm+3cm+5cm\\ P_{b}=12cm

h: Height of the prism is the distance between the bases of the prism (the triangle), then h=11 cm

Then, replacing in the formula the known values:

S=2(6 cm^{2})+(12 cm)(11 cm)\\ S=12 cm^{2}+132 cm^{2}\\ S=144 cm^{2}
