It is very interesting to consider the ways in which the Islamic Empire influenced the the areas it ruled. Whilst the empire brought with it its own values and cultural traditions, it was also not against taking on aspects of the cultures of the countries it took over. In this way, in areas that became part of the Islamic empire, there was now a fusion of cultures, beliefs and ideas.
