What is the treaty of versailes?
Illusion [34]
The Treaty of Versailles was the most important of the peace treaties that brought World War I to an end. The Treaty ended the state of war between Germany and the Allied Powers. It was signed on 28 June 1919, exactly five years after the assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand.

But who was the big 3. They were the 3 most important men present at the Versailles conference. These 3 men were: George Clemenceau (who was France's president) And Thomas Woodrow Wilson, who was America's president. And finally David Lloyd, who was the president of Britain. But after all what did they want from Germany?

George Clemenceau wanted revenge because Germany completely bombarded France after the war.

Thomas Woodrow Wilson wanted a peace treaty signed with justice and respect.

David Lloyd wanted wanted peace but also wanted Germany to suffer because of the havoc they created however didn't want the suffering for Germany to be to harsh because he knew in the future it would create World War 2, and that is exactly what happened.

I really hope this helped if you want anymore extra information please ask and i will be happy to help. Thanks

melomori [17]

In this case the new police chief promotes a legalistic (option A) policing style. This mean he focuses on fining law violators, on threatening the population and on arresting criminals. This policing style is very common in big cities with a diverse population because it standardizes a set of rules for everyone, but a legalistic approach portrays the police as a strict institution which may cause social discomfort.

HURRY I HAVE 5 MINUTES ITS MY LAST QUESTION PLEASE HELP!!!!!!
TEA [102]

Answer:

The answer is letter c, President Wilson understood the sacrifices the Africans had made.

Explanation:

President Woodrow Wilson is one of the leaders in the world who was an advocate for democracy. This is the reason why he made his statement of principles for peace. This is popularly known as the "Fourteen Points." This statement addressed territorial issues and other things related to obtaining peace and independence from colonial claims.

Thus, after World War I, he called for the expansion of democracy and self-determination for African colonies. He even extended their rights to "self-determination," a principle which focuses on equal rights and the right of the people to be governed through their own consent because he clearly understood the sacrifices they made.
