The<span> American </span>Crisis<span> is a collection of articles written by </span>Thomas Paine<span> during the American Revolution War. In 1776 </span>Paine<span> wrote Common Sense, an extremely popular and successful pamphlet arguing for Independence from England. 
But along with the book, it is completely about English War (American Revolution) and fighting for it's independence and had it's first 13 colonies and on with the current states today.</span>

Following World War I, the League of Nations was established to aid in the maintenance of peace and the resolution of international disputes. After WWII, the United Nations was in the same boat. There were also the peace accords that brought the conflicts to a close. (You'll have to evaluate whether these were successful or not.)
