Answer:

In the summer of 1963, civil rights leaders planned a mass gathering and march for freedom in Washington DC to bring national attention to racial inequity.

Explanation:

The March on Washington for Jobs and Freedom was a political demonstration on August 28, 1963. It was one of the highlights of the civil rights movement in the United States. Over 200,000 people gathered in front of the Lincoln Memorial in Washington, D.C. and demanded the end of racial discrimination in the United States. After the march, Martin Luther King gave his famous speech "I Have a Dream" in the National Mall.

The march followed earlier demonstrations, including the Birmingham campaign earlier that year and contributed to the adoption of the Civil Rights Act of 1964.

Did buddhism "triumph" in china in the same sense in which christianity triumphed in the roman world?
stira [4]
I can't say I know much about the history of Buddhism, but I think I know something about the practice itself. Christianity is a religion of action - a religion that speaks out and acts out. It's a religion that goes to war and asserts itself to gain followers and prove points. From what I understand about Buddhism, it is a 'passive' religion. It is a system of belief that stands on meditation and response rather than reaction. I haven't really heard of any Buddhist groups starting wars, fighting in battles, and singing in victory. Their triumph comes in quiet ways whereas it seems that Christianity triumphed in loud and obvious ways.

Describe the trade routes in the early river valley civilizations
melomori [17]

\huge\boxed{\fcolorbox{cyan}{red}{ƛƝƧƜЄƦ}}

A river valley civilization is an agricultural nation or civilization situated beside and drawing sustenance from a river. A "civilization" means a society with large permanent settlements featuring urban development, social satisfaction, specialization of labor, centralized organization, and written or other formal means of communication. A river gives the inhabitants a reliable source of water for drinking and agriculture. Additional benefits include fishing, fertile soil due to annual flooding, and ease of transportation. The first great civilizations, such as those in Mesopotamia and Ancient Egypt, all grew up in river valleys. Tigris River flourished near Mesopotamia civilization and river nile flourished near civilization of Egypt.
