As reserved and thoughtful

Let’s use the process of elimination. He is not funny and outgoing + angry and bitter + jealous and rude. Because of one word, he was silent and ignored all remarks and questions. This leads me to believe that he is reserved and thoughtful.

Answer:

Explanation:

Frodo was the only one present who had said nothing. For some time he had sat silent beside Bilbo’s empty chair, and ignored all remarks and questions. He had enjoyed the joke, of course, even though he had been in the know. He had difficulty in keeping from laughter at the indignant surprise of the guests. But at the same time he felt deeply troubled: he realized suddenly that he loved the old hobbit dearly.

Change active the boy laughed at the beggar, change in passive<br>
Nadya [2.5K]
For passive, The beggar was laughed at by the boy.

Explanation: For passive the subject isn’t doing the action. So, in this case, the boy is the subject, and he’s doing the laughing. There’s also a sense that a passive sentence is wordy and could be shortened.
