An Incident On Bullying

Tom just got to High School for the first time. Being a novice and dark-skinned in a school that is predominantly white, he was the topic of discussion among some bigger white guys who are racists.

During the break hours, Tom went to the cafetaria to eat amongst other students. Two tall white-skinned guys stopped him and began insulting him; drew his head, wagged their heads at him and called him all sort of dirty names. Tom broke down in tears helpless.

A. Speak To The Bully Calmly And Convincely: Give him reasons why he should be accomodating and be of good behavior.

B. Help The Victim: As responsible citizens, it's our patriotic duty to help those bullied. Don't allow to suffer in the hands of the bully. Find a way to be of help.

C. Report the bully to a higher authority: Further steps can be taken by reporting the bully to the appropriate authority for immediate sanctions.

Effects Of These Tips On Bullying

B. Help The Victim: This will make the victim to feel loved and better.

C. Report the bully to a higher authority: The authority may help to sanction that bully.
