C) open space

Mild climate make it possible for united states to train the soldiers all year round without fearing casualties from both cold and hot weather.

The cots were made with materials that give a little bit of comfort for the prisoners to sleep (such as heys or a little bit of cotton). Prisoners at the war camp would most likely forced to work for the capturers. The capturers realize that they need to at least let them sleep so they can recover from work.

7. D) Men entered the armed forces

During the world war II the majority of the workforce was still dominated by men. So,  a large portion of the Men served at the armed forces and leave the jobs/businesses that they held behind.

When this happen, the women needed to work to replace the men in order to ensure that United States managed to sustain its economy.

What could have caused U.S. imperialism?
Anna71 [15]

Answer: B) The success of the Spanish-American War and the colonies received from that victory.

The Spanish-American War was a war between the United States and Spain in 1898. The main issue at play in this conflict was that of Cuban independence. The U. S. backed the Cuban rebels that seeked independence. The public was greatly influenced by a media campaign of anti-Spanish sentiments.

The United States eventually emerged victorious, and this meant the loss of the last remnants of the Spanish Empire, which was a great shock to Spain. However, the U. S. gained several territorial possessions, fuelling an interest in expansionism.
