Answer:

You did not include the images however, it should be one that shows the cells swells as a result of Osmosis.

Osmosis is the process by which molecules from a solvent with a lower concentration of concentrate enter into a solvent with a higher concentration through a semi-permeable membrane.

A solution with less concentrate than the cell is said to be Hypotonic.

In this instance, the cell has the higher concentration of salt so water(assuming the solution has water) molecules will move from the solution into the cell. This will cause the cell to swell.

The picture attached shows a red blood cell in different solutions. The Hypotonic solution is how a cell looks in a solution with more concentrate than it.

Describe how oxygen and carbon dioxide are cycled using the cardiovascular and respiratory system
yuradex [85]

Answer:

respiratory system fills the blood with oxygen and gets rid of the carbon dioxide while the cardiovascular system umps the oxygen rich blood all over the body (short answer)

Explanation:

the respiratory system aids in the supply of oxygen to the blood and the exit of carbon dioxide. when the heart takes in blood that is short of oxygen and full of carbon dioxide, the pulmonary arteries pumps the blood to the lungs, who then fill the low oxygen blood with oxygen and transport the carbon dioxide out of the lungs. this oxygen rich blood, which now has a rich amount of hemoglobin, is transported to the heart which is pumped or circulated it to the entire body. (long answer)

hope this helps !!

What can you do to your models of starch and of a polypeptide chain in a protein to make them more accurate?
Pepsi [2]

Polypeptids

A polypeptide is a linear chain (without ramifications) of aminoacids linked by peptidic-bonds. We speak of a polypeptide when the chain contains between 10 and 100 amino acids. Above 100 amino acids are generally referred to as protein.

Among them, multicyclic peptides, phosphorylated peptides or those incorporating non-peptide bonds or conjugated peptides.

Starch

Starch is a mixture of two homopolymers, amylose and amylopectin

* Amylose, slightly branched with short branches and a molecular weight of between 10,000 and 1,000,000 Dalton (600 to 1000 glucose molecules).

* amylopectin or isoamylose, a branched molecule with long branches every 24 to 30 glucose units via α (1-6) bonds. Its molecular weight can range from 1,000,000 to 100,000,000 Dalton (between 10,000 and 100,000 glucose units).

To summarize the structure of the polypeptides is still linear, but the structure of the starch has ramifications.
