The female sex hormones are estrogen and progesterone.

During female puberty, the hormones progesterone and estrogen are realeased around the time a woman is 13-14 years old .

During the time, the girl begans to develop breasts and her monthly cycle will soon began, these are all part of the reproductive cycle .
