the Greek gods were actually very close to the roman gods because they were them but with different personalities. They were different because of the power and the minor and major gods. They were worshipped because of myths and fables.

Greece wanted a power that seemed to top others gods so they came up with the idea of the Greek gods and then installed into that idea demi-gods. (ex. Percy Jackson) It took off from there and caused others to come and respect their gods over others for their might and power.

A student claims that if a giant
never [62]

Answer:

Yes, I do agree with the claim made by the student that if a giant core sample could be taken by drilling down through Earth's crust, the resulting column of rock layers would show clear divisions of all the periods in the same order as the geologic time scale.

Explanation:

 • The layering up of various earthly materials has taken place on Earth from several hundred million years.
 • Every time after a new layer got deposited over the other, the layer below got isolated and remain unchanged since then.
 • Hence, if a cross-section block is drilled out of the Earth now, it would exhibit clear divisions of all the periods in the same order as the geologic time scale.
