Answer:

Option (A)-  Within the updrafts

Explanation:

Hails are generally formed within the updraft portion of a strong thunderstorm. It is comprised of a high amount of liquid water and an extensively large amounts of droplets that are vertically extending up to a huge height. These form clouds that are typically below the freezing temperature. When these updrafts are extremely strong and violent then it indicates the occurrence of a tornado. The formation of hailstones is influenced by various factors namely the wind shear, lower temperature zone (freezing zone) and larger height.

Further explanation:

Hailstorms are defined as those hails that reach the surface of the earth originating from the thunderstorm. They usually have a diameter of 5 mm or even higher than that.

They are made up of ice (or alternate layers of transparent and translucent ice), accumulated over the hailstone during its motion within the Cumulonimbus cloud. These are suspended above the air with much stronger upward motion until it attains a weight that controls the upward movement of air and eventually precipitates back to the ground.

This mainly occurs in the mid-latitudinal region within the continental areas where the height of that particular place is below 3500m with respect to the sea level. When the dry air moves into the stronger and intense type of thunderstorms over the regions of continents, the possibility of occurring hails rises as it favours the evaporation-cooling process, as a result of which the temperature of the thunderstorm significantly decreases.

Answer:

Well, most transportation methods cause carbon dioxide to go into our atmosphere. Using hairspray is also another way. Because of the high levels of Carbon Dioxide in our atmosphere, global warming has risen (if that’s a word :D). Due to global warming ice in Antartica is melting and the Polar bears are in danger (sadly). Now I can’t tell you anymore about this topic because I don’t know anything about it (I haven’t learned anything else yet) I hope this helped, and if you knew this information I’m really sorry....Have a great day!

Among fossil fuels: Coal is made by heating of woody plant material, and oil is made by heating of algae. Coal is made by heatin
Ivahew [28]

Answer:

Coal is made by heating of woody plant material, and oil is made by heating of algae.

Explanation:

The coal and the oil are both fossil fuels. They have both been very important for the development that the humans have experienced since the Industrial Revolution as they were what provided the energy needed for this process, and they still do.

The coal is a fossil fuel that has formed from woody material, mostly from the Carboniferous forests. Once these forests collapsed, they were quickly covered with water, mud, and sediments. Over time they were covered with even more sediments, so they were getting deeper into the crust. As they were getting deeper into the crust this material was exposed to higher temperatures and pressures, leading to the formation of the coal over the course of millions of years.

The oil is a fossil fuel that has formed from the remains of the marine life, mostly algae. As the algae and the other marine organisms have been dying out, they have fallen on the bottom of the oceans, quickly being covered with the soft sediments. As more and more sediments have been placed on top of them, they too were getting deeper into the crust, so they were also exposed to higher temperatures and pressures, eventually leading to the formation of the oil over the course of millions of years.

1. What type of heat transfer causes the movement of tectonics plates.
creativ13 [48]
1) heat from radioactive decay in the core of the Earth heard the mantle.
2) Plates move averagely only a few cm a year, this has been happening ever since the planet formed and cooled to give a thick crust so this movement has added up over many years to move plates far from where they started.
3) because the mantle is heated and is able to flow slowly, convection currents are set up which cause the plates on the crust to move.
