Identity Diffusion. He has yet to make a choice to be against them yet. He merely does not agree with their actions. He has no allegiances to either side of the issue.

I would maybe say Moratorium if he is *currently* in a crisis over some decision (ie the relationship with the government). However, not sure how he is trying out alternatives at this point.

1 According to the Internet World Statistics, there are approximately 73 million
amm1812

Answer:

  • Yes it does.
  • Because it can be proven

Explanation:

When a statement of fact is made with regards to a variable, it means that the variable can be proven by actual evidence. Sometimes we may not be able to prove it ourselves so we leave that up to reputable people or organizations who specialize in the field of the variable in question.

Internet World Statistics is one such organization so if they say that there are a certain number of Filipino internet users in the country in a certain year, then chances are that it is a statement of fact because they have researched it and proven it to be true.

nordsb [41]

Answer:

It's D) on my options: the need for libraries in order to help improve people's overall quality of life

Explanation:

Read the following excerpt from Eleanor Roosevelt’s speech “What Libraries Mean to the Nation.”

I know one place in the northern part of the state where I camped for a while in the summer, and I went to the school and talked to the teachers. They are using school books which have been passed down from one child to another. They have practically no books outside of the textbooks. The children in the district are so poor and some of them so pathetic that I suppose the struggle to live has been so great you could not think much about what you fed the mind, but I came away feeling that right there, in one of the biggest and richest states in the country, we had a big area that needed books and needed libraries to these schools in the education of the children, and, even more, to the whole community to learn to live through their minds.

We are doing a tremendous amount through the home economics colleges to people to learn how to live in their homes, to better their standards of material living. We have got to think in exactly the same way about ing them to live mentally and to attain better standards, and we can do it only through the children. We can do ground work with the children; we must begin with them; but we have got to do a tremendous amount with the older people.

What is one central idea of Roosevelt’s writing?

A.

the need to educate parents and children about the value of books

B.

the need to prioritize learning over other material concerns

C.

the need for efforts that are focused on teaching children to read

D.

the need for libraries in order to improve people’s overall quality of life

vovikov84 [41]

Answer:

THE MEETING POOL

BY RUSKIN BOND

The Meeting Pool by Ruskin Bond is considered as one of the greatest pieces for describing the ravages of time. It describes that how the requirements and necessities of an individual changes by the passage of time. It  also depicts that the time is an oblivious enimity and time is tyrant.

It says that the time is omnidestructive. Time destroys everything- the relation, the friendship, the necessities, the immortality of royals ,etc.

RAVAGES OF TIME ACCORDING TO RUSKIN BOND:-

THE MEETING POOL deals with three friends. The friends were chums and played a lot in their childhood.Among them was the narrator-BUSTY. He found a pool and made his friends acquinted with the presence of the secret pool . All of them went there and played a lot. They spent time fishing, swimming and bull riding. Their childhood revolved around the pool  and they decided to meet back after 10 years on 5th april 1964.

Busty kept his promise and was present on the scheduled day. But his friend did not come. He was very disappointed and realised that everything changes with respect of time. Time destroys everything and diverts the necessities and requirements of an individual.

Busty then finds another pool and saw some children playing there. He recalls his childhood and his hear fills with sorrow and a dismal expression strikes his face. He feels isolated and feels very bad. He blames time for this. He says that the time is tyrant and because of it his friends forgot him.

THE CONCLUSION :-

TIME IS TYRANT . IT DESTROYS EVERYTHING. NOTHING CAN WITHSTAND THE WRATH OF TIME. THE RAVAGES OF TIME ARE VERY DESTRUCTIVE. IT DESTROYS ALL THE MEMORY AND CLEARS THE PRESENCE OF ALL. IT HAS THE POWER TO WASH AWAY ALL THE LOVE AND AFFECTION  AND TO MAKE AN INDIVIDUAL FORGET SOMETHING OR SOMEONE. TIME IS THE METAPHORICAL REPRESENTATION OF DESTRUCTION AND FORGETFULNESS. THE NEEDS AND WANTS ARE CHANGED BY TIME .

THANKS!!
