Answer:

The total number of slices of pizza in 20 pizzas is 204  .

Step-by-step explanation:

Given as :

The total number of pizza ordered = 20 pizza

The number of slices for 45% of total pizza = 8

The number of slices for 55% of total pizza = 12

Let the total number of slices of pizza = n

Now, According to question

45% of total pizza = \dfrac{45}{100} × 20

I.e 45% of total pizza = \frac{45\times 20}{100}

∴,  45% of total pizza = 9

Again

55% of total pizza = Total pizza - 45% of total pizza

Or, 55% of total pizza = 20 - 9

∴ 55% of total pizza = 11

Now,

The total number of slices of pizza = 45% of total pizza × The number of slices for 45% of total pizza + 55% of total pizza × The number of slices for 55% of total pizza

i.e n = 9 × 8 + 11 × 12

or, n = 72 + 132

∴ n = 204

So, The total number of slices of pizza = n = 204

Hence,The total number of slices of pizza in 20 pizzas is 204  . Answer

Which of the following is an arithmetic sequence? -7/11 6/11 -5/11 4/11....
Anastasy [175]

Answer:

the right answer is \frac{3}{4} ,-\frac{3}{5},- \frac{3}{6} ,-\frac{3}{7}

Step-by-step explanation:

to find the reason for the sequence, the following formula must be used;

q = t2 / t1

where t2 is equal to the second value of the sequence and t1 to the first value.

q= t2/t1

q = \frac{-\frac{3}{5} }{-\frac{3}{4} } = \frac{12}{15} =\frac{4}{5}
