Biology

Answer:

32

Explanation:

The ETC activity occur in the intermembrane space. For every ATP molecule, three hydrogen ion are released during a Kerb cycle. Out of three hydrogen ion, one join with 3NAD+ to produce NADH and remaining two hydrogen ion joins with FAD to form FADH2. Glucose is fully oxidized through two kerb cycle in which 6 NADH and 2 FADH2 molecules are produces. One molecule of NADH is equivalent to 3 molecules of ATP and one molecule of FADH2 is equal to 2 molecules of ATP.

Hence, in totality 32 molecules of ATP are produced in ETC

Vlad1618 [11]

Answer:

The correct option is B. Cholesterol is non-polar.

Explanation:

Cholesterol is a non- polar substance and due to this property it is an active part of the cell membrane. Cholesterol molecules help to maintain the stability of a cell. When the temperatures are high, cholesterol stops the cell membrane from crystallization. When the temperatures are low, cholesterol reduces the packaging of molecules of phospholipids. As a result, fluid phase is archived by the cell membrane.

Elaborate on the difference between 2o and o2.
ohaa [14]
Two atoms of oxygen element are represented as "20". The two oxygen atoms are unreactive state and are unstable readily reacts and form molecules.
O₂ reprersents one molecule oxygen. When the two oxygen atoms reacts with each other forms one molecule of Oxygen. After the formation of Oxygen molecule, it (oxygen) has got stability.
