Answer:

Step-by-step explanation: total income=$500

Ratio of partition of money6:3:4

( Which gives that lauren gets 6x, rachel gets 3x and Becca gets 4x)

6x+3x+4x=500

13x=$500

X=500/13 ( transposition method)

x= 38.46

So lauren gets 6(38.46)… rachel gets 3(38.46)while Becca gets 4(38.46)…

Lauren= 230.76

Rachel=115.38

Becca= 153.84

Calculate the pay for the following day of a weekly time card given a wage of $14.50/hr. Name Week of: SI Morning lo Out Monday
Vanyuwa [196]

As we can see in the card, on Monday the worker clocked in at 08:15 and clocked out at 12:15. This means they worked 4 hours.

They then clocked in at 13:00 and clocked out at 17:30. This means they worked for 4 and a half hours.

Since they earn a wage of $14.50/h, they earned:

(4+4.5)\cdot14.50=8.5\cdot14.50=123.25.

So that day they earned $123.25

Pythagorean Theorem: a^2 + b^2 = c^2

-A and B are legs of the triangle

-C is the hypotenuse

#1.

6^2 + 8^2 = c^2

36 + 64 = c^2

100 = c^2

c = 10

#2.

5^2 + 12^2 = c^2

25 + 144 = c^2

169 = c^2

c = 13

#4.

10^2 + 4^2 = c^2

100 + 16 = c^2

116 = c^2

c = 4\sqrt{29}

#5.

15^2 + 9^2 = c^2

225 + 81 = c^2

306 = c^2

c = 3\sqrt{34}

#6.

120^2 + b^2 = 150^2

14400 + b^2 = 22500

b^2 = 8100

b = 90

#7.

144^2 + b^2 = 194^2

20736 + b^2 = 37636

b^2 = 16900

b = 130

Hope this helps!! :)
