In what way does the conversation between lady macduff and her son serve as comic relief act 4
zimovet [89]
The conversation between Lady Macduff and her son is comedic because he provides a commentary on her life that is far beyond his years. His mother's surprise at his bluntness, when he turns the conversation around onto her (she says "what wilt thou do for a father?" and he replies "nay how will you do for a husband") she is surprised and the mood is lightened a bit from their worry and anger about Macduff's leaving. The boy is witty and bold, which makes his mother (and the audience) laugh.

Based on the following excerpt, in what way does the fur piece serve as a contextual symbol for Miss Brill in Katherine Mansfiel
Arada [10]

Hi there!

I believe the answer you are looking for is The boy and the girl can’t seem to understand how anyone could wear fur. It shows that others have a difficult time relating to Mrs. bill.

In 'Miss Brill,' Katherine Mansfield uses symbols to subtly build and explore the conflict of the title character, for example, the fur. Its owner's inability to interact with anyone in the society is symbolized with the dead eyes of the fur wrapper.

Hope this helps!
