I believe that Jane is the protagonist for The Yellow Wallpaper. For a very long time all she can do is stare at the nasty yellow wallpaper in her room, as she has been help captive in her room for weeks on end. Although she was able to exit her room each day for only a little amount of time, she spend the most of her day held captive in her room. I hope this helped you out!
