During the late 1800's, Farmers had obstacles with the railroads. They believed they were not being attended moderately or equivalently by the railroad corporations. Farmers were afflicted that the railroad corporations wouldn’t present them allowances for exporting their goods on the trains. They very well knew that other companies will be entertaining rebates thus they turned to groups such as the Populist Party to attempt to address their concerns.
