Answer:

Hello, Your answer will be C) Wreck

Explanation:

As a noun, 'decay' is the state of gradual damage or decline in strength, soundness, or prosperity, that is to say, of becoming worse. Similar to the noun 'wreck' that is the state of being damaged, disabled, in ruin or dilapidation.

The other words do not support the meaning of 'decay', because 'colossal' refers to something extremely big, 'bare' is something/someone without any clothes or not covered by anything, and 'round' is something shaped like a ball or circle, or curved. Have a Great Day!

Select the correct text in the passage.
ioda

Answer:

The commons stand in terror of thy frown,

And dare not utter aught that might offend,But I can overhear their muttered plaints,Know how the people mourn this maiden doomed

Explanation:

Option A is the correct answer because it shows Haemon's reasonable nature seeing that it is quite different from the stance of his stubborn father Creon.

In the lines, he tells his father that he should listen to the people even though the citizens are too scared to air their opinions aloud but they are less than happy with the treatment of Antigone and they are in solidarity with her. Haemon tries to reason with his father by letting him know the displeasure of the people and that he should listen to them.

Answer: At first the daughter had a very confident attitude and she was happy. Next, when she got old she discovered mood swings which caused her to be stubborn and yell at her mother. Shortly, she softens up a tad-bit but she still is stressed over her mother making her be a child prodigy. A few years later, she became mature and discovered that piano wasn't that bad, she'd just need her own time to do it and focus on other things in life.
